of Mexico's Great Masters, Franciso Coronel has been
making lacquerware since the age of seven. His fame is
such that he was commissioned to elaborate an enormous
batea dish, decorated with gold and silver leaf for Queen
Elizabeth. He is from the great lacquer center of Olinala,
in the state of Guerrero.
